The Duke Energy Welcome Center, formerly known as the Progress Energy Welcome Center, is home to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. The 19,000-square-foot, $4.4 million center opened in August 2004. The center welcomes 30,000 guests from all over the world each year. When visitors arrive, they pass through the atrium which displays banners bearing the UCF Creed. Located within the facility is a 200-seat multipurpose room to host presentations, classes and a variety of other events. Campus tours originate here. The 90-minute tours occur daily at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
