Located on the north side of campus, VAB is the home of the School of Visual Arts and Design (SVAD). SVAD offers the Art B.A. concentrations of Art History, Books Arts, Ceramics, Drawing and Printmaking, Illustration, Painting, Sculpture, and Type and Design, as well as B.F.A. programs in Emerging Media: Graphic Design and Experimental Animation tracks, and B.F.A. programs in Studio Art. With two floors and 68,921 square feet, it has ample space for art studios, classrooms and large lecture halls, as well as wall space for displaying artwork. The VAB also houses the UCF Art Gallery and a 454-seat auditorium.
